Renovations:

Restoration and winterization work - 2018
- Construction of a new entrance with storage space
- Carpentry work to install insulation, exterior cladding, and replacement of
the roof.
- Insulation and waterproofing of the concrete block foundation perimeter
- Winterization of the veranda, which is an integral part of the house
- Installation of a mechanical room accessible from inside the cottage to the
basement/crawl space with new water inlet/pump/heating coil. The water is clear,
has no discoloration, and is used for cooking.
- Insulation of the house: Exterior and interior walls with Isoclad and wool; crawl space with
urethane and cellulose (sprayed particles) in the attic
- Almost complete replacement of the electrical system, outlets, and new 200-amp electrical panel
- Complete replacement of the floor covering with vinyl composite planks
- Replacement of the roof, soffits, fascia, and gutters
- Replacement of the roof, soffits, fascia, and gutters
- Landscaping work such as revising the slopes of the land for water drainage
towards the outside (positive slopes), installation of a dry well to collect water
from the gutters and foundation.
- Insulation of the water inlet from the surface well to the mechanical room
- Installation of wooden entrance balconies
